In Acts 8:26-39, Philip was witnessing to a eunuch of great authority under Candice, Queen of the Ethiopians. Philip came preaching Jesus to him. As they went down the road, in the chariot, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, see, here is water, what hinders me from being baptized?  Then Phillip said, if you believe with all your heart, you may. And. he answered and said. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. So both Phillip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. If you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and saveoir, but have never been baptized,then you need to do so. Even Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Read Luke 3:21-22, and Mathew 3:13-17. just find a Christian church that believes in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, crucified and risen and be baptized. Again read Acts 8:26-39.

I believe that people are introduced to the occult at a very early age. Just as soon as you are old enough to watch saturday morning cartoons, you are bombarded by good vs evil, and all the heroes and villians have super human powers. So many of the very popular books, which are designed for the younger readers, are filled with witchcraft and sorcery. These books introduce the younger readers to the realm of the occult. Other things like psychics, tarot cards, owegee boards, hipnotism, and the fascination of ghost stories on tv also need to be avoided. So many of the vidio games are loaded with violence and the occult.Most people think that all of these things are completely harmless, but God doesn't. Be aware of these things and avoid them.Always remember that Jesus said in John 14:6,"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

                Matthew 16:18 and 19 says,"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." To understand spiritual warfare you have to look at the human condition of sickness, worry, fear, depression, anger, abuse, and addictions etc. 1Peter 5:7-8 says,"cast all of of our cares upon Him (Jesus), for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." In John 10:10, Jesus says," The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." When we see the powers of darkness affecting our life and the lives of our familys, friends and other people, as christians, we have the authority to use the Name of Jesus to bind the powers of darkness ( the roaring lion ) and loose ourselves and others to the Holy Spirit for the help we need. The bible says that my people perish for lack of knowledge. But, because we have confessed Jesus, and belong to Him, we've been given the authority of His Name, His Blood, and His Word,To have life, and to have it more abundantly. We really need to come out of our darkness and lack of knowledge, and begin to read the bible.

                         I would like to briefly summarize what we have learned in the first 9 lessions. The first two lessons in this bible study are devoted to Gods salvation, followed by the salvation prayer. After God makes His home in us, He starts to build His house. To build a house you have to start with a solid, level foundation. Thats why in lessons 4-9, I have showed you the important bricks of this foundataion, starting with Gods Word, the bible.Next is the importance of love, forgiveness, and faith. As we grow spiritually, God wants us to be able to hear His voice, and know what it sounds like.He also develops in us the fruit of the Spirit, found in galations 5:22-23. This is the nature of Christ. With all of these bricks in our foundation God will be able to build a strong house within us. And we will be able to grow up spiritually, from babes to full adults. This is His desire for us.
